NORTHERN IRELAND & EU UPDATE - GPSR

As you may be aware, recently new GPSR regulations have come into place from the 13.12.24, which due to Brexit, greatly impacts my small business. 

Creators across the UK have have been forced to stop shipping to not only the EU but also Northern Ireland. These new guidelines force sellers to have an EU representative which looks to cost hundreds of pounds, often per product! Understandably, this cost is not achievable for small businesses like myself and it seems we have been left out of the discussions when it comes to these new rules.

My only advise for my wonderful EU/NI clients if they would like to continue receiving my creations. To ship your order to an address outside of the EU or Northern Ireland and have the recipient send this on as a gift. Unfortunately I know this does not suit everyone, but this may be the only way around these new restrictions. Please be aware as the seller, I cannot legally send these parcels as a gift to work around this issue and will not consider doing so.

I wish I could provide more information, but the guidance available is currently unclear, so I would ask if you are based in the EU or Northern Ireland please look into these new GPSR procedures and see how this may impact you.

For all small creators, this has been devastating news, but I am hoping this issue is resolved asap and a suitable solution is found for small businesses like myself. I will be actively trying to find a fix to this issue so I can resume shipping to my wonderful EU and NI clients. I can not thank you enough for these years of support.
